Sgt. John F. Burner III
of Baltimore, Md., died Sept. 16, in Iskandariya, Iraq, in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 63rd Signal Battalion (Expeditionary), 35th Signal Brigade, Fort Gordon, Ga.

I appreciate that they protected our country.

When my wife or I see someone in a military uniform if we are out to lunch, we usually pay for their lunch too.
 
It's the least I can do.

They are protecting my country.
