The quality of life in the US is way better than Egypt. Egypt may have free health care but do you know what the facilities are like? I would rather pay for healthcare here than get it for free in Egypt.

But what if you were one of the poor souls who had no money to pay for US health care?

The poor soul could go to UCLA medical center and get free health care, as in free advanced Cancer treatment. Anything and everything completely free, just for being poor.

The USA is the best place in the world to be poor.

You can't get a routine medical exam at an emergency room and I can tell you from personal experience that routine exams detect potentially deadly conditions which otherwise give no hint of their presence.

I forgot to mention that, if you are poor or don't make enough money you can apply for medicaid, which basically pays for your hospital visits for free, if you don't qualify your kids will definently get on.

Yes, routine medical exams are being restricted in Emergency rooms, seems odd, that doctors on duty can not take the time to do routine exams in an Emergency room.

Of course, the problem is extremely high taxes on all levels, extreme government regulations and meddling, and lawyers who are actively preying on anyone with lots of money and big insurance companies.

Add to this mix that fact that the USA has been bleeding Manufacturing jobs that many people who are now poor would traditionally find employment.

It all comes downs to the failure of the Liberal-Socialist aspects of our government.
