As of Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at least 2,169 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan as a result of the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to an Associated Press count.

The AP count is one fewer than the Defense Department's tally, last updated Tuesday at 10 a.m. EST.

This would've garnered massive headlines when Bush was president. Now? Nothing!

:salute:

How many thousands more came home missing arms, legs, faces? You know the only thing that sucks worse than dying by an IED is surviving one. Dunno about you all but id rather be dead than missing an arm or a leg. Just shoot me and get it over with.
