The real invasion of Africa is not news and a licence to lie is Hollywood's gift

full-scale invasion of Africa is under way. The United States is deploying troops in 35 African countries, beginning with Libya, Sudan, Algeria and Niger. Reported by Associated Press on Christmas Day, this was missing from most Anglo-American media.

The invasion has almost nothing to do with "Islamism", and almost everything to do with the acquisition of resources, notably minerals, and an accelerating rivalry with China. Unlike China, the US and its allies are prepared to use a degree of violence demonstrated in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Palestine. As in the cold war, a division of labour requires that western journalism and popular culture provide the cover of a holy war against a "menacing arc" of Islamic extremism, no different from the bogus "red menace" of a worldwide communist conspiracy.

We must also realize that Africa will be the main battlefeild for the future. As you stated,
China, Russia have already developed a foothold on the African continent. The U.S. and western nations will use the cover of fighting Islamic extremist as a decoy for their real
purpose in Africa. As you correctly stated, it is the mineral resources, an estimated billions upon billions of dollars worth of natural resources, many of which are still in the ground in many of these African countries. A prime example of this is the Democratic
Republic of Congo, were at least 4 millon people have been killed , who were caught in the
crossfire of an internal struggle for natural resources in the DRC, Democratic Republic of Congo.

The United States, and the former European colonialist land grabbers, have been itching for
many years now to get back their colonial foot holds back on the African continent.
The timing could not be better than now, as Islamist extremist have been infiltrating many
north African , and Sub Shaharan African countries.

US sends "advisors" to 35 different African Nations. That mean 35 potential Vietnams.

Talk about a Vietnam quagmire, many of these African countries have no kinds of infrastructure, or paved roads, or highways, or railway system ,or air traffic control system.
I would like to see how some of these Veitnam type situations in Africa play out.
We all saw what happened in Mogadishu, Somalia.Holy mother of mary!

The odd thing is that China is actually pouring money into Africa's infrastructure. Yeah, they're making deals with the African nations in regard to Natural Resources but that's to be expected isn't it? Countries trade with each other? Better than some World Trade Organization middle men doing it.

It's the US that wants to interfere and escalate things Militarily.

The U.S. wants to interfere militarily because of the many strategic, and military industrial
complex minerals that China now has acces to in Africa.

For all you who support Obama and his redistribution agenda, get ready to watch more of the money you thought was coming to you go elsewhere. You didn't think an African was going to ignore his home continent, did you?? What did you think he meant when he said he wants to redistribute the wealth?

Interesting - nobody has pointed out that the claim in the OP is factually false!

The US patently DOES NOT have troops in 35 African countries.

US Sharpens Focus on Northern Africa
February 03, 2013 - Outgoing U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says Islamist militants in North Africa are regional threat that must not grow to become a global threat.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says, for years the United States has focused on combating al-Qaida in nations like Afghanistan, Yemen, and Somalia. As a result of developments in Mali, Panetta says another militant off-shoot, al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM, is also on America’s national security radar. “Now AQIM is out there, they have tried to establish a base of operations. That is serious. I am glad that France took the steps they did. We are now working with France to make sure that al-Qaida has no place to hide.”

Panetta spoke on NBC’s Meet the Press television program in one of his final interviews as defense secretary. Appearing alongside him was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, who characterized militants in North Africa this way: “I would not describe them as the number-one national security threat [to the United States]. But they are a threat that is localized, becoming regionalized, and, left unaddressed, will become a global threat.” Panetta said some upheaval is to be expected in North Africa after sweeping changes brought on by the Arab Spring. “That is what we are seeing in that part of the world, is a tremendous amount of change. Our hope is that change can move in the direction of providing greater democracy and greater stability. That is what you hope for these countries. But there is instability associated with change, and that is what we are seeing.”

On other global matters, Panetta said Iran has yet to specifically embark on building an atomic weapon, but its enrichment efforts are a clear cause for concern. He also said the United States remains committed to forging a partnership with Afghanistan that will endure after U.S. combat forces leave the country next year. President Obama has nominated former Republican Senator Chuck Hagel to succeed Panetta as defense secretary.

Most likely, US will confine itself to drones, allowing France and the like to do the actual re-colonisation. And US will control France...
