US grabs lead over China in clean energy race

You mean he has thrown away $48 billion of taxpayers money, most major solar companies have gone bankrupt, and wind energy is a joke
Actually only like 2% of the companies int hat industry went bankrupt

Someone needs to tell GM that their Chevy volt is a failure given they've seen sales of the car increase by 100% since 2011.
goverement backed electric car companies were a flop.....
Do you mean GM and Chrysler of which are now having record profits and creating tens of thousands of jobs?
Or do you mean the ATVM which has created tens of thousands of jobs and saves 3 dollars for every dollar spent on it?

Your drink to much Koolaid
You're the one who has no idea what she is talking about

,the only way chevy volts sell is with government rebates, and as of now the plant is shut down from lack of sales.
Incorrect has I said before Volt sales have increased by 100% since 2011. But nice attempt at lying.
According to the Detroit News yesterday, the Treasury Department increased its estimate of government losses in the $85 billion auto bailout by another $170 million.
Of which 45billion of those loans have already been repaid, and more is expected to be repaid, and the government still has stocks in the companies that they can sell off.
Second the auto bailout saved 1.5million jobs and turned a industry that had record losses and was shedding jobs into one with record profits with thousands of new jobs being added.

In the government’s latest report to Congress this month, the Treasury upped its estimate to $23.77 billion, up from $23.6 billion.
Yep over 1.5million jobs is definitely worth that much

Solar Trust of America – filed for bankruptcy yesterday. The Oakland-based company has held rights for the 1,000-megawatt Blythe Solar Power Project in the Southern California desert, which last April won $2.1 billion of conditional loan guarantees from the U.S. Department of Energy. It is unclear how the bankruptcy will affect that project.
When ones honest and looks at ALL the data green energy loans have resulted in over 100,000 jobs being created, and over $8 dollars in economic benefits for every 1 dollar spent by the government.

So again nice try at lying

Well, here in Oregon, we have a problem with alternative energy. For the second year in a row, between hydro and wind, we produce more power than Oregon and California can use. In other words, thanks to the wind turbines, we have excess capacity. So when the price of batteries comes down, and the energy densities increase, we are in a good position to supply the increased demand.

For people that don't have their own solar, that is. Having a vehicle that's primary power is electricity, means the payback period for residential solar will be a far shorter period. With a grid parallel system, one has the best of all worlds. The utility is getting extra power from you during the time of highest use, and you are pulling power off of the grid when the demand is lowest. A win-win for all.

You mean he has thrown away $48 billion of taxpayers money, most major solar companies have gone bankrupt, and wind energy is a joke , the chevy volt is a dismal failure , goverement backed electric car companies were a flop.....good job Obama you have cost this Country billlions .:clap2::clap2::clap2:

Man, you are full of shit. Just one plant here in Oregon employs over a thousand people, and puts out 500 megawatts of solar cells a year. And the US has 47 gw of installed wind power. Hardly a joke.

Old rocks, do you have this set up?
-Solar powered house
-Electric car

Maybe a smart move within the next few years.

The sun do not shine everyday and the wind does not blow everyday, all are still connected to the grid , idiot .
