US Drone Hacked into Iranian airspace?

Actually, that could work

When you jam it's guidance signals, drones default to a return to base mode. Guidance signals are encrypted so you can't remotely fly the drone without the right encryption keys. GPS is not encrypted so I imagine a GPS signal could be spoofed and you could fool it into thinking it is landing at it's home base

The Iranians have planted an American drone by a Russian station.
Iran has not brought down an American UAV Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel, and planted it by using the complex «Avtobaza», which Russia recently supplied to the Islamic republic.

"Six weeks ago, Russia announced the delivery to Iran, the ground-based electronic intelligence executive IRTR 1L222« Avtobaza ». Most of the exports of Russian arms to Iran is banned, including anti-aircraft missile complex S-300, which can significantly complicate the air strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. But the embargo does not apply to the station jamming "- writes Fightglobal.

«Avtobaza» used in the composition of the mobile complex jamming and is designed for reconnaissance aircraft radar pulse peripheral vision, radar weapon control class "air-land", as well as radar flight safety at low altitudes. Therefore, «Avtobaza» could be the ideal tool to penetrate into the channels of communication that allow you to control the UAV from a remote computer.

I am sure Iranian friends, for a fee, will allow Russia and China to inspect the body of the deceased and to participate in his autopsy.

And if the Americans or the satellites will be impudent Russia would reconsider the ban on supplying Iran with S-300 complexes, such talk is in Putin's inner circle.
