If you cannot communicate coherently, it raises questions of your ability to reason coherently.

If you cannot reason coherently, then your conclusions are to be read with that in mind.

This is why I believe science teachers should grade science papers for grammar as well as the science in them. If we are going to get back on top, we need our education system to be top notch. We must teach the ability to think critically.


Calling Bush's doubling of deficits after the recession in the early 2000s "minimal" is not critical thinking.

The highlighted part is an example of both false propaganda and specious reasoning.

Yeah, I suppose one could say that from 2001 to 2007, Republicans ran CONGRESS (Not congress running the country) like a Swiss watch. They spent taxpayer money and cut taxes without paying for either, and nobody was able to do anything to stop it since they had a majority and a president who was more than willing to sign whatever was put in front of him. Yeah, those were the days when Tom DeLay was buying up every vote he possibly could with all the money the lobbyists were throwing his way. Those were also the days that the war supplementals were passed off-budget.

And then you think that something magically changed for the worse when the Democrats took the majority and Bush still had the veto pen? Care to say what that was?

Not to mention....if you take a tour of Monticello, like I did this Summer with my wife.....You will find that:

A. Jefferson INHERITED a large chunk of Virginia....from where Monticello sits down to the Natural Bridge area...He actually owned the Natural Bridge itself.

B. Over the years of his life, he had to sell piece by piece of all that property to pay off debts....and of course to fund UVA. He also had to sell his extensive library, once again....to pay off debts.

C. When he died....the entire Monticello estate had to be sold.....to.....guess what? Pay off debts. He left his family virtually nothing.

May I remind you that the Democratic party had control of the senate in 2002 when the vote was taken to use forse to remove Saddam from power?

What about that little event deemed Katrina along with the 6 or so other major hurricanes during the same 2 year period?
yet in 2007 this country run a deficit of 163 billion, compared to 1.3-1.5 every year BHO has been in office

See the reall issue is jobs, or the lack of
Revenue is still or close to the revenue we had in 2007, and the 4-500 billion that the Democratic party added to the baseline in 09 and then stated they "inherited" it
