Does the OWS support rape or do they just support rapists? Hey - shit happens, right?

Thrown out of their noisy outdoor home in a Lower Manhattan park, Occupy Wall Street protesters are pressing on with their anti-corporate movement from the quiet worship spaces of New York City churches.

There have been petty fights and disagreements about who can stay and who must go. The housing committee has set up a hot-line for protesters to register for one of about 150 spots at the churches, and the person must be on the list when they check in each evening.

But the homeless and criminals have managed to slip in.

Last week, Tonye Iketubosin, a Zuccotti protester arrested on rape charges and was released on bail in November, posed an issue for the protesters when he signed up at St. Paul and St. Andrew. When he was recognized, several protesters met to deliberate whether he should allowed to stay, said Jeffrey Brewer, a protester handling housing issues. They ultimately decided he could stay that night, as long as security monitored him, Mr. Brewer said. Mr. Iketubosin and his attorney couldn't be reached.

The suspect, 26-year-old Tonye Iketubosin, of Crown Heights, was apprehended a short time later and charged with sexual abuse.

Al Jones of 1010 WINS reported that Iketubosin, known in the community as “Tony Parks” is also being looked at for three separate attacks.

Those incidents include an alleged rape on Saturday morning and the sexual assault of a 17-year-old the weekend before.

Looks like somebody forgot to Google.

The Monday Boston Globe featured a photo on the front page of its Metro section of a lip-locked couple who “found romance” at Occupy Boston.

“Holding hands outside the food tent before the encampment disbanded,” read the accompanying story, “they were the archetype of an Occupy couple: he, a red-headed Mainer with tattoos on his arms; she, a petite upstate New York girl with a heart-shaped face and a boyish haircut, wearing a knit grandmother sweater three sizes too big.”

Good details — but the story failed to mention one big one: Robert “Red” Stitham, the 25 year-old beau whose relationship with Anya Karasik, 18, is the focus of the piece, is a Level 3 sex offender.
