Unusual hobbies?

J'adore the Renaissance Faire.

My first date with Mr. Boe was at The Faire - and we were indeed in full costumes. I was a wench; he was a merchant.

Have fun Ernie!

I've been a competetive fencer for 40+ years.

Really??

I used to fence when I was a kid. I am interested in all forms of martial arts.

Go fig.

We have something in common.

Yep, all three weapons, my claim to fame is defeating the number one ranked epee fencer in the US after 6 months of using the weapon.... that was fun!

My hobby is collecting and wearing exotic skin vintage handmade cowboy boots.

My favorite pairs are anteater skins. (3 pair; gray, black, and cognac)

But my everyday wear is a pair of elephant skin in medium brown. (tough as nails hide)

I also have some python, rattlesnake, ostrich, lizard, iguana, and alligator skins, in various colors.

The alligator's are what I wear with a suit or to a formal dinner.

I'm still looking for a pair of sea turtle skin boots.

But they have been on the Endangered Species list for around 30 years.

So they are hard to find; and very expensive when you do.
Just python and ostrich for me. A friend has a pair of sting-ray boots.

This is the wife and I with my trusty charger.

Both of those are nice boots.

I have 2 pair of ostrich; one is ostrich leg skin made by Dan Post.

And the other is a full quill pair made by Lucchese.

My pythons are natural back cut skins made by Nocona

Never owned any sting-ray boots.

But I understand that they are super tough hides that are almost impossible to damage.

He said VINTAGE boots, dickhead.

dickhead is still looking for sea turtle boots......

watch who you are calling a dickhead...

flutter butt
Vintage implies that the boots he's looking for were made BEFORE sea turtles were put on an endangered species list. You own a human skull and he's a dick head for wanting a pair of boots made from a long dead turtle? You are a dickhead, dickhead.
