One of the first thing prospective tyrants want to do is keep you from reading a free press. So, in the absence of an outright ban on anything but the official press, they attempt to discredit any source but their own, in this case...FOX.

Once they get you to accept the idea that everyone else is "biased," and convince you that "fair and balanced" is true (it isn't), then it's an easy thing to manipulate you.

Might as well bend over and say, "May I have another, please?"
