We are fed such a continuous line of bullshit from all sides that I can hardly blame those of us who are undecided or unwilling to vote.

I'll be voting, but then, I'm given to futile gestures of hope in the face of overwhelming odds.

Yes, I'm a hopeful voter too. But I also contact my Senators (& others) regarding topics that are important to me.

Honest Reporting Canada ([email protected]) is an organization that checks the stories in the media & reports to Canadians. DOES ANYONE KNOW if there is a watchdog group like that for the USA?

We, the people, have next to nothing to do with how issues are decided.

We get to vote for packaged candidates.

Democracy has nothing to do with that, except marginally.

We are a respresentative Republic in theory.

We are a Shamocracy in fact.

I understood why our government began with that method, but due to advances in communication it is now out of date. I think it was Jefferson who said a country needs a major revolution every 40 years or so; we're due.

Most definately---Who's gonna take the lead is all I wanna know.

I for one think Obama cut in line, in front of Hillary, and how do you reward that kind of behavior...... you Vote for Mc Cain "Go Republicans".......

Yeah, how rude of Obama to weather the smear campaign from the Clinton attack machine and win an unprecedented underdog campaign.

Who do you think would do a good job at leading a revolution in America?

I don't know who, because who I would choose would depend on what we want the outcome of a revolution to look like.

Can't reach a destination if you don't know where you want to go.

Obama is an corporate thug undercover, he is all about $$$ and popularity,he should go to Hollywood instead of the White House, also, Newbees have no place learning while leading the free-world..... duh.....

I voted none of the above. i am a socialist voting democratic. i am doing this because i don't want John McCain and i know the only way to stop him is to vote for the other major party.

Hey showing Obama's weaknesses is only a half measure to my theory, voting for mc Cain is the other half, lets show the world what happens when, there is no lesser of two Evils ( they are equal )...... and then maybe next time we get to vote in the primaries we will have a more thought selection.. I mad I say let us go down for 4 , not 8 with obama !!!!!!!!!
think about it

After watching the re-run of The Saddleback Civil Forum, just now, nothing has changed in the way I voted on this poll. I remain one of the three "Unsure - Have not made up my mind".

I did like the way this was conducted. More so than a debate between the two of the top candidates. I liked the host, much more than some cable news reporter asking questions in a debate - that has an obvious agenda - for one party or the other party.

I did not hear anything new from either candidate, that I had not heard before .... but .... my eyes and ears opened a little more to what they both had to say. However .... have we ever had a person that has been elected (to any office) that does what he says he is going to do while campaigning? I don't think so. :eusa_eh:

I do think that McCain sounded more 'sure of himself' than he has before, when I have heard him speak at different area's of the country. Just my opinion.
