Unions are Marxist tools

Conservatives hate unions. they hate working families. They hate the poor and they hate clean air water and soil.

Conservatives LOVE money and those with money.

Anything else is just window dressing (all the social crap they would force upon America)

Once the motivation of Conservatives is understood, the debunking of their ideology can be a simple thing. Just find an American who loves freedom more than cash.

obviously you've bought into the left propaganda...

conservatives do not hate unions necessarily.....but do not think public unions are right...

conservatives love money as much as the next guy.....and the next guy is a lib....

you don't think lefties force social crap upon Americans?.....ha! they are pros at it....

some people can be bought....true
some people cannot be bought...true
whether left or right...

Ya see, eliminating collective bargaining rights is:

another step in eroding rights for everyone (see same sex marriage, civil rights, women's rights)

not about balancing state budgets but striking a political blow

and, a means of catering to the corporate interests who are writing the script for Conservative "pundits" duping undereducated Americans into thinking they too can get on the uber-rich bandwagon. Despite the fact that bandwagon is both exclusive and going far too fast for a middle class person to climb aboard.

first of all, not all collective bargaining is being eliminated...

second, other issues are in debate....as they should be...

third, it is about balancing budgets and also striking a political blow.....a much needed blow...

fourth, you can make as much money as you can create.....work smart.....and how is limiting public unions catering to "corporate interests".....?

In keeping with my irrefutable truth,

unions are despised by the Right because their primary function is to close the gap between rich and poor.

unions typically don't do jack squat for "the poor"....companies typically offer competitive wages...or do you consider 90% of the private sector workers who don't belong to unions as being "poor"....? i guess by union standards they are....

Rich and poor are relative terms.

exactly....

people are always poor if republicans are in office....

people are not so bad off when democrats are running things....

talk about misdirection...

I meant joke in the sense that your Polish example DOES NOT APPLY here in America...

we are already a representative democracy....the marxists in America are pushing for exactly what that old Polish union was against...they were against communist rule...

Well if you are using no parameters..Unions are about as American as Apple pie.

And because of Unions..the American way of life has flourished. Unions brought about benefits, minimum wage, worker safety and vacation pay.

Without Unions..America might have decended into either a communist or fascist state.

Which is why I question those who hate Unions. In communist and fascist states..the first thing to go..is the Unions.

i never said that unions don't have their place in America.....they have done some good things over the years....however.....

i am saying that unions have become TOOLS of the marxists....pushing their left-wing agenda...it's quite obvious if you just take an unbiased look....

like FDR i do not believe we should have PUBLIC unions....politicians are too much in bed with union leaders....and the taxpayer suffers....

Obama imo is a marxist...he is a big union supporter, SEIU in particular....unions are his his power base...and he is using them toward his own marxist agenda...

There is absolutely nothing "marxist" about Unions. Nothing. Nadda.

It's part and parcel with Capitalism..which by the way was started by people who got tired of being in the service of aristorcracy or nobility. They wanted to profit from their skills. Some of them formed "Guilds". Which is very much the same as Unions are today.

The use of Unions is a civilized method of petitioning and negotiating for wages and benefits. Prior to them..work conditions were miserable and that's the kind of environment ripe for populist nonsense like Communism or Fascism.

There has never been a Conservative advocacy for expanding rights. that's important to know, so I'll repeat it. There has never been a Conservative advocacy for expanding rights.

So eliminating another layer of rights fits right in with the conservative playbook. Budgets, according to Conservatives, must be balanced on the backs of the people least able to withstand the pressure. Tax breaks for the rich, advocacy for a vastly unfair "flat" tax and a penchant for cutting benefits to the poor and elderly all demonstrate the Conservative disinterest in the less advantaged.

How is it that some reasonably intelligent people fall for being on the wrong side of history and simple human kindness so often? Is it the lure of what you might think of as financial success? Why, conservative policies have widened the gap between rich and poor so far that the average person just doesn't stand a chance. Yet Conservatives are like lottery ticket sellers. Take a chance, give us the power and maybe, just maybe, your dream might come true. I'm 54 and I haven't bought that line of bullshit since Reagan's policies ruined my hometown and America's ability to make the strategic resource of steel.

never said unions are marxist per se......i said unions are marxist tools....you keep confusing the ordinary with the socialist/commie subversioin that exists right under your nose...

Conservatives look to the Constitution of the United States for their rights.....nothing more is needed in America......it's you lefties that think the UN socialist list of rights is the way to go...but that would destroy the basic principles of America...

In Wisconsin no "rights" are being taken away......The People have the right to determine the organization of public workers....and they voted in representatives to curb the unions...and the bleeding....

Actually.....now teachers can have a CHOICE to join or not join the union....to pay or not pay union dues....that's a NEW RIGHT for them...before they were FORCED to join and pay...

You talk about the gap between the poor and the rich.....why don't you first visit a socialist/commie country like Cuba or Venezuela or China or Russia or Mexico and then try to preach to us about that "gap".....

I think the OP missed the edit button...I'm sure he means on PUBLIC SECTOR unions because from the Hannity and Limbaugh being in the union thread...Repubs actually ONLY hate public sector unions and love unions like SEIU and UAW.

Or maybe just the ones Limbaugh and Hannity belong too because they belong to it...I dunno

Unions are Marxist tools

There's a government, in CHINA, that could really use your efforts....presently.

"Less than two years after the worker suicides at electronics giant Foxconn and a strike at Honda (HMC) suppliers in Guangdong province, labor troubles are again roiling China.

“We are seeing an upsurge in worker activism that exceeds anything since the summer of 2010,” says Geoffrey Crothall, communications director at China Labour Bulletin, an advocacy group in Hong Kong. Some 180,000 riots, strikes, and protests occurred in 2010, according to Sun Liping, a professor at Beijing’s Tsinghua University.

China’s leaders don’t want strikes to stoke broad social unrest. That could be tricky, because the new generation is ready to assert itself. The young are less tolerant of long hours and assembly line jobs and more prone to job hopping."

.
"Unions have become tools of leftism. They provide bodies and money to Democrats and Democrats protect them as if they were their young. It’s truly a symbiotic relationship. Whenever we hear chatter of union this and that it is always falling from the lips of a leftist. That clearly proves it’s political. Whenever any one ideology embraces and the other rejects, it’s all politics."

Labor Unions Are Tools of Leftists and Their Radical Brethern, Marxists | Scotty Starnes's Blog

Despite MoveOn.org and SEIU taking a leading role — along with a number of other sponsors including the AFL-CIO, AFSCME, George Soros’ Media Matters, the Apollo Alliance and the Sierra Club — the National Park Service has confirmed that the Saturday rally’s permit was requested by and issued to the International Socialist Organization, a group committed to building a “future socialist society.”

In addition to working with liberal activists and national labor unions behind the scenes, the ISO is just one of many socialist/Marxist/communist groups organizing their members to support Van Jones’ new “American dream” initiative.

The Daily Caller noted Friday that a number of radical groups — including the Maoist Revolutionary Communist Party, the Communist Party USA, Trotskyist Socialist Workers Party and the Democratic Socialists of America — are taking up the labor unions’ talking points and encouraging Egypt-like unrest in the United States.

The Socialist Workers Party has labeled Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker “an enemy of the people.”

“Egypt, whose revolution has been a constant source of inspiration here, reflected in signs and chants — and Walker’s new nickname, Gov. Mubarak,” an ISO article reads. In addition, the article labels the current budget debates in Wisconsin as “class war” and as an affront to “the standard of living of working people.”

Blaze Exclusive: International Socialists Orchestrate Unions? Rally to ?Save the American Dream?

Of all people.....Van Jones, a communist....is calling for an "American Dream" movement...via socialism of course...

"And we should announce that our renewed movement is more than just a mobilization to back unions or oppose illegitimate power grabs (as important as those agenda items are). Something more vital is at stake: our country needs a national movement to defend the American Dream itself. And the fight in Wisconsin creates the opportunity to build one."

Van Jones: Introducing The 'American Dream' Movement

Wow... isn't it ironic that someone creates a thread such as this after I show the FedEx driver throwing a monitor over a fence.
