Unexpected unemployment rise

And more news...

European confidence in the economic outlook unexpectedly worsened in February after the euro region’s recovery almost stalled in the fourth quarter.

An index of executive and consumer sentiment in the 16 nations using the euro slipped to 95.9 from a revised 96 in January, the European Commission in Brussels said today. Economists projected an increase to 96.4 from a previously reported January reading of 95.7, according to the median of 25 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey.

European Economic Confidence Unexpectedly Worsens

Unexpected?

After pinqy's spin doctors work the numbers it will turn out that we are possibly, maybe, allegedly, could be starting the beginning of the first part of the recovery process.....thus in reality we created 2.1 million jobs!!!!!

Way to go community organizer...WAY TO GO!!!!!

Unexpected unemployment rise? It was no surprise to me. If you think things are getting better, you have a rude awakening coming, and I don't mean maybe!

Another lie to cover Obamas ass. :eusa_liar: On the chart below notice how after Ovomit took office the seasonally adjusted line went from choppy to smooth & steeply up. Then for the first time in history on an unemployment spike the seasonally adjusted line went way above the actual not-seasonally adjusted line instead of holding below as it always has before.
Really? Your chart goes back to 2000. But the difference between SA and NSA has been the same or greater 65 times before then: 10 times in 1971, 5 times in 1972, 7 times in 1974, 13 times in 1975, 10 times in 1976, 3 times in 1977, 5 times in 1980, once in 1981, 10 times in 1982, and once in 1983. The data only goes back to 1971.

Oh, and that's not "Unemployment" in your chart, it's the Insured Unemployment rate....the percentage of the labor force receiving Unemployment Insurance. So you've switched to yet another data set. You really don't understand any of this, do you?
