PICKET: Gallup shows U.S. unemployment at 9% - Washington Times
Is that +/- 3%, like most polls? Watch out, next headline, UNEMPLOYMENT DOWN TO 6%.
times 2 equals............18%
No more unbelievable than the cooked government supplied numbers
Yup The UE figures go up and down just like Barry's popularity figures.
Give it a hot minute and it will be at 8%.
well considering its gallup it's most like 3 points below the +/- 3 % ... so it's 12 percent minimum.
Still good, haven't the Obama-bashers been saying it's really 15%?
Well.. since the government won't include everyone who is really unemployed... who's to know??
If they factor in those who quit looking for work altogether it would be, maybe not that high but around 13% or so.
+/- 0.7 percentage points at 90% confidence. In other words between 8.3% and 9.7%.
Note that it's not comparable to the official number because it is not seasonally adjusted, and there are some methodological differences as well. You can go to Table A-1. Employment status of the civilian population by sex and age for the not seasonally adjusted BLS numbers (error is +/- 0.2 percentage points at 90% confidence)
