Famously, January, 2009 Unemployment rate was 7.8% and rising in months yet to happen. The Stimulus Happened. By March, 2011, the Unemployment Rate was at 8.8% having fallen.

Winter had happened. The Mideast Spring was happening. Oil Prices were rising. Japan disappeared beneath the sea.

Finally manufacturing pay level job growth slowed. Unemployment only went up 0.3% and with a lot of long-term unemployed still not being hired.

Those unemployed tend to be hired in construction and government public works projects.

All the Republicans can do is chant about some nameless Adminstration Advisor's 8.5% projected number, finally off only three tenths of one percent.

PolitiFact | Cantor and other Republicans say Obama promised stimulus would keep unemployment rates below 8 percent

The Republicans appear to have the "Obama Is Messiah" concept, in the brain. At least an Obama Adminstration was supposed to know about Japan, the flood, the oil schock, and the debt ceiling debacle: Even in 2007, according to GOP.

The Republicans repeated the Advisor's projection in their address of July 9, 2011: With no public works or construction spending proposed.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Strred!"
(White Eyes Call It Ivy League. as in, "Gringo, The Rushes Go! What is the One-Ho?" Ho, Ho, Ho, from Santa Clause--Make Work Pay Tax Credit--They do not discuss. Santa Clause, The Party of Herbert Hoover took away!)

Everything was fine and dandy until the DemocRATS took over the Purse Strings in 2006...

:)

Anyone also recalls that LordBrownTrout personally took the Bush Unemployment rate from 4.7% at the start, to 7.8% at the finish, and Dow plunging to 6,300: All at the same time. LordBrownTrout presumably supports the record of the Party of Herbert Hoover.

Most people likely do need to be reminded that the Party of Herbert Hoover is also the Party of George Bush II, Terms I & Ii: And Boehner-Cantor-McConnell-Romeny-Bachman-Palin-Cain-McCain-Pawlenty-Huntsman-Gingrich-Paul-Paul, et. al.

Many regard the Katrina Event in Epic Terms. Many recall that the Republican FEMA response was more epic a failure than all the disaster warmings combined.

The Republicans also want the Disaster Warmings systems dismantled.
