WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are both getting new talking points on the economy, with the government reporting the addition of 163,000 jobs in July while the overall unemployment rate rose to 8.3 percent.

With the presidential election now less than 100 days away, the economy still looms as the key issue in determining whether Obama will get a second term.

Obama should put down the golf clubs for a moment campaign on this monumental achievement.

You wonder why democrats are focusing on Romney's tax returns, this is the main reason, Obama has no accomplishments with this economy.

Also, although Washington, D.C. is not a state - it's certainly one of the poorest.

Why don't you list the top 20 poorest, most crime-infested cities and the names of the Democrapic Mayors who are running them. That'll give ya something constructive to do, assfucker.

Blood red states in many cases...

163,000 jobs added. Good.

Pathetic comment.

That isn't even enough job growth to keep pace with population growth.

Get your head out of Obama's ass for a moment and be objective.

Hey, it's better than losing jobs. It's also a sign that the recovery from Bush's recession is underway.

exactly what KIND of jobs are being added to the economy......?

temp agency jobs? 'independent contractor' jobs....? casino jobs?

have very many manufacturing jobs been added....?
