to be frank I do not believe you as the wording of your post does not clarify your role at the mine but makes in sound as if it was explosives . I used det cord when working as a commercial diver mostly for removing propellers underwater from large ocean going vessels and used it on several occasions just because we could .the explosives expert in the company also did pyrotechnic at sporting events a rodeos and we blew all kinds of things up all kinds of ways...there is nothing distinctive about the sound of det cored just admit it
