Muslim radio station fined for saying gay people should be tortured - Telegraph

Left title vague so that people could take a guess. Had this story been of a christian radio station, you would have heard of the story. Other than conservative websites and gay websites, and perhaps the telgraph, this story was ignored, wouldn't have been had a christian station did this.

So don't expect the BBC, Huffington Post, Daily Kos, etc to cover this story despite the events having taken place a year ago, the fine just came out recently.

They can be fined, but an end won't be put to the concept.

This is the way muslim feel and what they do in their countries. When Britian becomes a muslim state, it's what they will do there too.

The funniest part about the lack of free speech in the UK is that if they actually apply the rules equally, they'll be jailing muslims for not supporting gay rights, and jailing gays for insulting religion.

In the UK you can be jailed for calling someone a ****.

It's not in the distant future that an athiest will be jailed for insulting islam or saying there's no such thing as god, as that offends religious sensitivities, however pro gay statements offends religious sensitivities too.

It was the wrong thing to say, but at the same time, its a Muslim radio station, and don't they have to right to say what they believe? If people don't like it, they can change the channel.
