In the Sanford Police report, released yesterday, the witness said he saw a black male straddling a white or hispanic man yelling for "help". Hmmmm. Two Sanford PD officers noted in their reports the initial observations of Zimmerman having blood on the back of his head, swelling and possibly a broken nose.

Put it this way: If Zimmerman was a cop, on the ground, mounted, being bashed in the face and his head hitting the concrete, a cop would have been 100% justified in using a gun. Cops are held to HIGHER standards.

Zimmerman will be found not guilty, and it wont even be close. Hell, it may not even go to trial.

Zimmerman could have use equally physically force since he had an advantage over the 140 lb kid. Zimmerman was trained in self defense being in the police acadamy at one time.

Zimmerman — in applying to enter the citizens’ police academy — later disputed the official version of the event, insisting that the agent never identified himself. “I hold law enforcement officers in the highest regaurd [sic] as I hope to one day become. When Trayvon ask him "why are you following me" Zimmerman did not identify himself as self appointed Neighborhood Watch Captian instead ask; "what are you doing around here" If Zimmerman had identified who he was it would not have escalated to a confrontation.

If you hear your neighbor being butchered next door and call the cops to report it and inform them that you intend to go next door to see what's going on, I guarantee you that the police will tell you that they advise you stay inside your home. Does that make it the right thing to do? It protects the police department from a potential lawsuit. It doesn't do much at all to help your poor neighbor.

So let me get this straight...you're using an incident where a plainclothes ABT agent was briefly accosted by George Zimmerman who claimed that the agent never said that he was a member of law enforcement as "proof" that Zimmerman has a violent history while at the same time saying that Zimmerman was responsible for the shooting because he never identified himself as being a part of Neighborhood Watch?

Not for nothing, but if Zimmerman is at fault for not identifying himself in the Martin case...then isn't the ABT agent JUST as at fault making Zimmerman not guilty of anything in that former incident?

By the way...I think Zimmerman erred in NOT telling Martin who and what he was before he asked him questions about what he was doing. That doesn't however give Martin the right to assault him. I guarantee you that if Zimmerman had mounted that ABT agent in a MMA style and started wailing away at him that the agent would have responded with force including the use of his firearm if necessary. Would the ABT agent be at fault for that response because he hadn't identified himself?

The charges against him for "assaulting" a police officer were dropped. It's OBVIOUS that there wasn't much of an assault other than a push. If an assault such as the one that Trayvon Martin is alleged to have committed on George Zimmerman had taken place, Zimmerman would have done time for assault.

Zimmerman exhibited few injuries, and those shown are minor. Whether there was a fight is to be determined; if Zimmerman used the MIXED bag of drugs prescribed for him, it could explain his unwarranted agitation.
