I thought the fights were boring. LOVED that new black guy with all the throws though.

More wrestling and jiu jitsu than slugging it out, i agree. I don't mind those kind of fights though. Bonner is a turd, no doubt......

My Ju Jitsu buddies don't like the heavyweights because then it is less skill and just two monsters beating the hell out of each other.

I see his points, but I also love watching two monsters go at it. Can't wait for Frank Mir to fight Lesner. I hope Lesner is prepared.

And I hope one day Lesner fights Fedor.

Yeah, no kidding. I really lost alot of respect for BJ after this whole ordeal. I despise him now and i think hes way overrated.

Jon Jones has amazing throws. Joe Rogan was right when he said that guy had some of the best throws in MMA. REALLY looking forward to seeing him in the future.

Dana White has said on numerous occasions that Forest Griffin and Stephen Bonnar will be with the UFC until the day they die. That TUF finale when they fought is considered by many people to be the most important fight in UFC history. If you ask Dana, he will say its the most important fight in MMA history. If you watch Dana's blog on February 2 i think it was, he speaks to Stephen aftet the fight and mentions he will always have a job no matter what and that he shouldnt worry about this loss.

Stefan Struve recently signed to the UFC in the HW division. That guy has some sick submission skills and hes only 20 years old. Hes a better submission specialist than even Frank Mir, in my opinion. Stefan will be fighting Junior Dos Santos at UFC 95. Thats going to be one hell of a debut fight for a 20 year old rookie, heh.

Cain Velasquez has great wrestling and ground and pound skills. He'll be fighting this Friday, on UFC Fight Night Live.

And I hope one day Lesner fights Fedor.

Yeah, that would be a great fight.

Im in total agreement. Im really impressed with Lesnar. I absolutely hate fake wrestling, and normally i would hate any guy coming from the WWE, but when i heard he was joining the UFC, i looked up his collegic record and watched some of his college matches on yutube, and i was immediately a fan at that point. That dude can wrestle his ass off. A 265 pound man should not be able to move that fast, but somehow he does and its amazing.

I think Lesnar surprised Mir last time, but Mir has more knowledge of what fighting Lesnar involves now, and can work up a game plan more effectively.

Then again, I think Brock has to cut weight just to be heavyweight (must be under 265 lbs I think)!

Yeah, it is 265 now, but i hear Lesnar balloons up to 285 by the time he gets into the ring. I also think Lesnar can change his game plan a bit, or at least avoid arm bars better now. You can train to defend submissions, but im not sure how much you can train to fight a super strong guy. There isnt exactly any counter moves for strength, like there are for submissions.
