UFC 74: Randy Couture v. Gabe Gonzaga

Saw it at Hooters last night. What a great show all around. Too bad they didn't televise the undercard, I wanted to see what happened with Babalu. He'll be suspended or possibly banned.

I didn't think Randy could do it. Gonzaga looked like he had no cardio. Randy's takedown slam on Gonzaga was fucking wicked. They need to bring Fedor in NOW!!!!!!

Hey Nate did you see Huerta throwing those elbows at Crane? I was LMAO.

Sick takedown from Randy. Personally I think Herb Dean should have stopped the fight when Gonzaga said he couldn't see. Keep in mind that a similar situation occured between Randy and Vitor a few years ago, allowing Randy to save face and come back in the next fight with a clean slate and win.

I'm done ever doubting the guy again.

GSP's takedowns were nasty but his striking has regressed. Koscheck should be ashamed. No wrestler should ever let a non-wrestler take them down. That's apostasy.

I'm sick of Roger Huerta. Does anyone else think he's overrated? Seems like they're just sending him fish to beat up on so they can market him to Mexicans. His strikes suck (no power), his grappling sucks (almost got caught a few times last night by a guy who had no business setting foot in the Octagon), just a good-looking guy who's in excellent shape and a heart-rending story about being a vato loco in the barrio before turning his life around - the veracity of which I am very skeptical of. I'm pretty skeptical of his supposed Mexican backround too. Looks like a German with a tan to me.
