I can't believe how many stupid fuckers think it would be best for a cop to put his weapon, and person, in jeopardy by stepping over these nuts.
Not to mention that some of them couldn't likely lift their leg that high without kicking someone in the head.

The video clearly shows that the fat goons with the pepper spray had no trouble walking from behind the peacefully sitting students to the front so he could spray their faces without putting his weapon or person in jeopardy or lifting his fat leg.
You need a better rationalization for the thugs venting their rage!

The OWS movement is revealing a lot about both sides.

When it comes to the police, it's clear that there are some bad apples who will, under the color of law, harm normal citizens simply because they can.

This is minor compared to the kids in Oakland getting flash banged.

I fully support a police officer using force, to include lethal force, to safeguard themselves, others, or property.

I do not support police officers using force, even minimal, when there is absolutely no need.

Your picture shows a group of students sitting on the walkway with crowds of spectators on either side. There was no "encircled." The cops could have walked around them, and in fact it appears some of them did. The picture shows cops on each side of the line.

That was NOT, capital NOT, "military grade" spray. Cops use 5% concentrate OC cap-stun spray (Oleorisum Capsicum), basically liquid peppers with sterile alcohol. Guess what percent the shit at WalMart and the local gun shop is? 15%. THREE (3) times stronger. Thats right, YOU can walk into K-Mart and buy shit 3 times stronger than the cops use. WHy do they use 5 instead of 15? Lawsuits. 15 could possibly cause eye damage. 5 wont. Cops use 5. ALL cops, even swat team cops. The military kills. The police control. Big difference. (No offense to military, you guys are for fighting wars, not the BS they dumbasses in DC task you guys with lately).

Now...others read this also............COURTS HAVE UPHELD THE USE OF OC SPRAY HUNDREDS OF TIMES FOR USE AGAINST PASSIVE RESISTANT PROTESTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF NOT USING HAND-TO-HAND FIGHTING TO ARREST, USING BATONS, OR USING K9 DOGS. OC SPRAY IS THE LEAST-BAD CHOICE OF ALL CHOICES.


Thus, the UC cops will NOT be fired. They can be put on admin leave, WITH PAY, which they are, and UC is not gonna get sued, by the COPS. Yep. They cops did that BY THE BOOK. The book lawyers and courts have written. They wont be fired. They wont lose pay. Either would result in a massive lawsuit by the cops which they would WIN as they did it 100% by the book.
