Unexpected, but look at that ocean temperature that is .152 that was over .3 last year at this time. Also this has ran slightly warmer then the surface observations and we really needed at least .4 this month to have a chance at 1998, 2005, so I'm expecting low to mid .3 overall for the globe out of Giss and NCDC. Oceans will really hurt as we might not get into the top 15 for oct.
