Troops from Camp Pendleton and Texas reported for their first day of work Thursday along the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego... Much of the focus, at least initially, will be on strengthening the border barrier... So far, some 1,300 troops have been assigned to support operations along the California-Mexico border... The Defense Department said another 1,500 troops have been deployed in Arizona and 2,800 in Texas. The total number of troops is expected to grow to more than 7,000.

The Soldiers and Marines have gone to major Ports of Entry in South Texas (McAllen), Arizona (Nogales) and California (San Diego); and started improving the infrastructure to defend against a mob rush tactic. Chain link gates are being installed on pedestrian bridges, and concertina is being added to the bridge roofs, the tops of local barrier, and triple strand concertina is being emplaced through the open areas around the ports of entry. Also, the Military is developing tent city collection detention points nearby, which could house and support crowds of either detainees or US Government personnel.

Blame it on the Democrats. When the President asked for money to build the wall, which would have secured the border, the Democrats said it wasn't necessary because the border could be secured by sending the Army there. Now they will complain the President has sent the Army there and pretend they had never heard of the idea before.

This money goes to our troops and pays for the supplies they need. Money sent to Honduras might as well be flushed down the toilet.
In fact, we have been sending money to Honduras and they came anyway.

How are stupid are we to be sending many millions of tax dollars to a completely corrupt state? How do we think the money will be spent? To help the people?
