U.S. Has Achieved 'Victory' in Iraq, Palin Tells Couric

So therefore never?

The cost of the Iraq war so far is about $560 Billion and growing at $341.4 million per day. At the same time, our Federal Government is proposing a $700 billion rescue plan (paid by taxpayers) for the U.S. financial industry with little expectation it will solve the crisis. I'd say we already lost.

$341.4 million a day? Now that is outrageous.

$560 billion is also what our Military spending is just about. Which is eight times more then China and more then the rest of the world combined.

Obama plans to give an estimated $845 billion of taxpayer money for welfare to third world countries. It's only money.

Well, we can't use their oil wealth now, can we?

Imagine what the liberals would cry about THAT!

Of course we can't use their oil wealth. The Bush Administration is making sure that the Iraqi people won't have the majority of the oil wealth, thanks to the farkin' NO BID OIL CONTRACTS HE'S SECURED FOR THE WESTERN OIL COMPANIES as part of the agreements with the Iraqi government.

uh, those were rejected recently

Of course we've been victorious in Iraq. They have a working government, they are building like crazy, it's safer there than it has been in ages, they are building an incredible police force, thanks to our policemen and women who are training them and their own bravery and dedication (the police were and are targeted relentlessly by the terrorists. And yet they keep signing up.)

It's a huge success. Our success in Iraq will be something that will memorialize Bush's presidency.

I know hundreds of Marines who will call Bravo Sierra to that drool.

Same reason we have troops in another 150+ countries?

You're an evasive little fucktard, aren't you?

Ever hear of the USSR? Do you even know how to spell USSR? Perhaps there is a parallel with Iraq.

But since you bring it up: we're in all those countries because they know the US helps guarantee their security as well as dispense humanitarian aid without asking for anything in return. Please don't even try to insinuate we invaded 150+ countries.

Is that why the dems are bitching the Iraqis have an $80B budget surplus from oil revenues and they just signed deals with China to drill for them?

Lady, you need a new set of talking points.

BTW - there were no no-bid contracts, they were extensions of pre-existing contracts written before Bush came to office for infrastructure jobs through KBR because KBR had long been in Kuwait already supporting our military there.
