One thing that is a bright spot. The next President, Republican or Democrat, won't have a hard time following this administration. Just like after Jimmy Carter anyone would have looked good.

The economy got off to an even weaker start this year than first thought, the government reported Friday, as economic activity contracted amid a disappointing trade picture and continued caution on spending by businesses and consumers alike.

The 0.7 percent decline in economic output in the first quarter of 2015 was a reversal of the initial 0.2 percent advance for the period reported last month by the Commerce Department.

Yeah. Darn that Obama and Carter - both created more jobs and economic growth than Repubs.

Bwahahahah ya Carter kicked ass, 20 % interest rates, inflation, massive lay offs. Delusional wrong and no credibility.

Just what has Obama done to deserve such nonsense? No generalities, what policies he himself came up that would prove your claim??

Businesses are run by humans, and it's human nature to react to outside stimuli.

Keep telling businesses that they didn't build that and that they're evil, that they can take on more artificial costs, and they're going to pull back some, they're going to be less aggressive

Not unlike telling cops that they're racist and evil. They're going to pull back, too, they're going to be less aggressive.

See how that works? For some, probably not, no matter how obvious it is.

.

I personally hope that this continues for another generation just so we can weed this out permanently. Eventually the other side just gives up on this idea and acknowledges that they are wrong which is something they have never done.

Isn't .7% contraction -.7% growth?
