If Iraq was a war crime what is the killings using the predator?

The United Nations denies targeting America and Israel, but an investigator has launched a study of drone attack impacts in the very same nations the U.S. has reportedly used the technology: Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Palestinian territories and Somalia.

The goal of the study?

To assess whether reparations are warranted, the U.N. investigator said in a BBC report.

“There is a need for accountability and reparation where things have gone badly wrong,” said Bem Emmerson, a U.N. special rapporteur and a British lawyer, according to the report.

A means to avoid committing war crimes?

Surgical strikes against hostile elements kill far less people then a full on invasion.

Problem is these drone strikes are far from surgical. The amount of innocent women and children killed in these Drone attacks is staggering.

The difference to the dead?

The innocent have nothing to fear from law enforcement, isn't that so?

Terrorists are not legal combatants or innocent civilians protected under the Geneva Conventions.

There is no war crime if innocent civilians die by accident in the act of attacking terrorists or even legal combatants. The intent to harm innocent civilians has to be established for a war cime, which is impossible to claim in court.

These anti-US scum at the UN should be kicked out of this country for openly supporting terrorists with their kangaroo court activities. The US doesn't target innocent civilians on purpose, collateral damage is part of a war and it is a war terrorists started against us.

Again..a full on invasion by US forces kills far more people than a drone strike.

CIA drones killed more than 3,000 people in Pakistan between 2004 and 2013, with the majority of attacks occurring during President Obama’s administration, according the Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Still, Mr. Emmerson said, the U.N. study is aimed at 51 nations, not just America.

Documented civilian deaths from violence

110,991 – 121,282
Further analysis of the WikiLeaks' Iraq War Logs
may add 12,000 civilian deaths.
Iraq Body Count

It's simple math.

If terrorists put innocents at risk by attempting to hide behind them, then imho THEY are the ones putting the innocent at risk - because we have every right to exact justice and we WILL exact justice. I will look at the results of the investigation and use that info to determine how we can exact our justice in the most humane way possible in terms of innocents, but I won't advocate abandoning justice.

Bill Clinton let UBL live in the 90s because ole Bill was afraid of this kind of shit where the UN and other left-wing scum would bring up war crime charges/claims against him if UBL's wife died in some CIA raid.

So Bill helped UBL kill 3,000 on 9/11, congrats Bill.

All on the say so of the CIA which has proved not to be too informed.

It's simple math.

56,125,262 killed in WW2, using your logic Iraq was nothing.

It ridiculous to engage in these sort of Non-Sequiturs.

WW2 was not Iraq.

Completely different "wars".

And yet Bill had no problem bombing Serbia for 72 days??? Really???

The US should welcome this. In fact, it should have called for it. This way, America can directly refute those who say this is illegal and/or immoral.
