Tylenol Slaying Theory

I suspect a Palestinian committed the act as revenge for the massacre of his family in the suburbs of Beirut.

The mystery poisoning began Sept. 29, 1982

The massacre began Sept. 17, 1982

I recall an article that said the telephones systems were working sporadically in Beirut during the shelling.

A phone call from Beirut to Chicago informing a Palestinian of the loss of his family would be the trigger for the Tylenol poisonings!

The mystery began Sept. 29, 1982, with the poisoning of Mary Kellerman, a 12-year-old. Within 15 hours six other people had been poisoned: Adam Janus, a postal worker; Stanley Janus, his brother; Theresa Janus, Stanley Janus's wife; Mary Reiner, a telephone company employee; Mary McFarland, a homemaker, and Paula Prince, a flight attendant. All were found to have taken tainted Extra-Strength Tylenol capsules.

1982: Refugees massacred in Beirut camps
More than 1,000 people are feared to have been killed during a 24-hour rampage by Lebanese militia in West Beirut.

The Christian Phalangist group are reported to have murdered entire families in cold blood in the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila.

That reaches too far even for a whacked out conspiracy theory.

Probably some guy out to collect insurance on his wife put poison pills in a few other places to confuse the cops. They had a copy cat, who got caught. But the original creep was never caught.
