Donald Trump has drawn the ire of musical acts like Neil Young, Aerosmith and R.E.M. for using their songs on his presidential campaign trail. But it appears Trump has finally found an ally from the music industry in the form of Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, who explicitly gave the billionaire mogul, who currently leads the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, permission to use their 1984 hit "We're Not Gonna Take It" as a campaign rally cry. Snider told Canadian Business that Trump called and asked for permission to use the song, a gesture that he appreciated. "I said, 'Look,...

How pathetic is your campaign when your drones are down to posting that Twisted Sister is allowing a music bed :lmao:

About the same as you accusing Trump of picking on a disabled! You fucking asshole! :321::banghead:

Hey, will that song sync to this? We can always speed up or slow down to match tempo.

What's that?

No, it's not "going away".

Donald the Chump didn't pick on the disabled, he actually HIRED the disabled.

I mean, c'mon, you're really gonna pair up icons like Neil Diamond, REM, and Aerosmith with a B class rocker like Dee Snyder?

Sorry, but Neil Diamond, REM and Aerosmith have much better songs, as well as many more top 10's than Dee Snyder ever dreamed of.

Any of their songs apropos to what Trump was looking for?

Yeah..................You could find one or two, apparently Donald the Chump did when he played them and the artists told him to stop.

Neil Diamond - Ohio and Keep On Rockin' in the Free World. Apparently Donald the Chump missed the meaning of the lyrics on the second.

Same with what he did on REM when he played It's The End of The World And We Know It.

Dee Snyder is a second rate rocker who is hoping to re start his career by supporting Donald The Chump.

Why else would they play We're Not Gonna Take It? They are crying about being kicked around.

Good for Trump. He received permission to use a song that's older than his last two wives, but just as relevant

So the story is, he was a gentleman and asked permission and it was granted. Smart move.

You mean, he used songs that he thought he could use without pissing off the artists that created them.

REM, Bob Dylan and Aerosmith are much better artists than Dee Snyder ever thought about being.

Big hair toupee being supported by a big hair band. Nice.

Politicians grant themselves exemptions on making unsolicited phone calls that businesses don't have such as cold calling. I'm surprised they didn't exempt themselves from copyright infringement for using songs in their campaigns.

Didn't this come up a few months back with someone wanting to use a song, and the band denying permission?

Thanks for this high-impact news story Vag, proving once again that you aren't a Trump fluffer in the slightest.

What's funny about this topic is that when Twister Sister was actually popular, most of Trump's supporters - mostly old people today - cheered the PMRC when they hauled Dee Snyder in front of the Senate committee to castigate him for songs like this one.
