Has anyone seen this movie and is it worth seeing? My kids both read the book and want to see it, I haven't read it and Im dreading going to see it.

I've read the series...I'm waiting to see the movie because I have no desire to sit in a theater full of screaming, panting tween-age girls.

I have heard that the movie is quite faithful to the book - and that if you haven't read it....you don't like the movie - but thats just the reviews. I said to my husband earlier tonight - it seems like a lot of movie reviewers are men in their 20s or 30s...there couldn't be an audience LESS suited to like this series, so I'm not surprised its getting less than stellar reviews.
