Hey, look what was on our driveway last night. He's a gimpy one . . . he's missing his right front leg.
Anyone know why his shell is partially white? Is he just shedding his outer shell lining?
I stuck him in the bushes assuming he'd be gone but he was still there this morning. He is nomming on some tomatoes at the moment.
We tried keeping a wild turtle as a pet once. His name was Mack and we had a huge penned in area in the yard (so the dog wouldn't get to him). This lasted for all of about a week. Mack kept trying to climb over the fence. We let him go by a creek near us.
