Turn your neighbor in to Obama

Hey maybe we can start sending the disinformation lady questions like: I heard Obama care won't pay for my dogs healthcare...is this true...lol Send them all kinds of crazy things like that. After all she need to earn her tax payer job.

The disinformation lady?

You mean Sarah Palin?

No, I think you meant Sarah Palin.

She has been lying since the beginning.

Spying?
Turning people in?
Threatening people?
Republicans think that because they support these things, everybody does.
Take a deep breath and repeat after me, "Obama is NOT Bush".
There.

In 1930's Germany, the new socialist government of Adolf Hitler (NAZI National Socialist Workers' Party) began indoctrinating children in the quasi-military organization, the Hitler Youth, to inform on their parents should they overhear discussions subversive to the policies of the Leader. As the noose was tightened, local community organizers were appointed to watch their neighbors and were told to report subversive comments to the bureaucrats above them. Neighbors informed on neighbors, some for reasons of patriotism or loyalty, some from fear. A modern inquisition ensued; a terror to free thought and expression. Increasingly harsh penalties were meted out to those who dared to dissent.

The socialist governments of the Soviet Union, Fascist Italy, N. Korea, Cuba, Yugoslavia, and the People's Republic of China employed the same citizen informer techniques. Citizens of those societies were reduced to either silence or whispered discussion only among those they trusted the most. Of course none of those things would ever occur here in the land of the free. But wait...

Now on the White House website posted by Macon Phillips comes an eerily similar request for citizens to inform on their neighbors. It states,

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to the end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to [email protected]."

Hell. All my neighbors what to lynch Obama. LOL.
Might want to move, then. It's not safe to be surrounded by so many idiots.

The name calling is priceless. I disagree with the Obama and you call me an idiot. LOL I guess that is ok. Opinions are like assholes everyone has one.
The paranoia is even more priceless: I didn't call YOU an idiot at all. I called those of your neighbors who want to "lynch" Obama idiots. And yeah, that is my opinion: only idiots should have to resort to lynching to get their point across.

Is the White House asking to hear about the misinformation or the misinformers?

Crucial distinction because if the White House is asking to hear about the types of misinformation floating around out there - that is perfectly legitimate. They would probably like to know what misconseptions are out there theat they need to work on correcting. And if that is the case, then those who are fostering the misinformation that this is about reporting people rather than misinformation are just proving why it is important to stay on top of this kind of crap. It's just one more example of how spin-hacks try to deceive people for political gain.

I'm not paranoid. I just don't like Obama because he is to liberal for me and apparently all my neighbors. I think the point will get across at the next election.

A nice little side benefit of people reporting emails and messageboard posts is the fact that most of those reports will "innocently" include email addresses and handles from which they can get the names of the detractors.

{knock, knock}

With appologies to Again Shiela.

Go fuck yourself sport. You are not funny lol. I haven't mentioned this rececently out of respect for some of the sensitive but wouldn't it be a hoot if some "liberals " burned down some of your christian fascist churches with your dumb asses locked inside?

I am thoroughly done with you people that casually banter about whether it is a good thing or not that the president gets lynched.

You are a fuckin dirt bag.

Nope. I just know a helluva lot more about building a successful radio station and/or show than you do.

The only radio man worth spit in Atlanta is Mike Malloy.

Too bad the vast majority of people in Atlanta disagree with you.

And I wasn't talking about Atlanta radio. I am talking about radio in general. And when an incident like this happens, and you are running an in your face kind of station, you promote the hell out of it.

The vast majority of people in Atlanta are fat and ignorant. I wasn't talking about Atlanta either...Mike just broadcasts from near Atlanta.
