Obama Leads Romney

"As polls shift back and forth, President Obama appears to enjoy a lead over Mitt Romney in the one contest that really counts: The Electoral College.

Obama is currently the favorite in states with 247 electoral votes, while Romney is in line for 206, according to an analysis by the Associated Press.

It takes 270 electoral votes to win the White House."

Well for one we have elections, not polls and it bothers me that polls are used as a substitution for actual investigative reporting. It's pure laziness.

Plus, many polls have been wrong many times before.

Well the thing is the election is 6 months away and the polls will shift a lot between now and then but everyone will continue to cite them as proof their guy will win as long the polls favor him even if it's only by one point. For the record Gallup has it Obama 47% Romney 45% Rasmussen shows Romney at 45% Obama at 44% with 5% going for a third party candidate and 6% undecided.

Do lefties even understand that the real campaign hasn't started yet and the GOP doesn't even have an "official" candidate? Yet the left takes any occasion to jump for joy when a poll says it's Barry Hussein. What a pathetic bunch.

I would have thought someone would have told me that we had switched the election from November to May.

Apparently living in the past eases the pain of the present. If it works for you, fine.

Yeah but the big (Freudian?) photos show the election that happened almost four years ago? Do lefties understand that Barry Hussein has to run again?

Of course they do. Why do you think they're trying so hard to declare victory before he has to campaign seriously?

I would have thought someone would have told me that we had switched the election from November to May.
The Quinnipiac polls have it Romney 6 points over Obama yesterday. The lockstep leftist press wishes to create a "self-fulfilling prophecy" in favor of their propaganda pal.

I think the American people are going to (1) Resist the stupidity of the press that thinks it can fool most of the people most of the time and (2) quit taking lying papers, watching lying tv leftist newscasts and (3) reduce the size and the role of wrongful government shilling for its members to illegally vote 30 times apiece to make up for the loss of dead voters.

I just love all the soothsayers we have on these boards that predict the results of the outcome in November. This thing looks close now, basically we have a toss-up. We have two national conventions, we have the debates to look forward to and a little over five months where anything happen.
I knew the Great Carnac, trust me when I say, he's not on these boards.
