That's the funny part, they're planning to build a carrier (1,000,000,000$ one) to increase the presence in the Mediterranean sea while every jet can reach and strike in these ranges so expect it to be nothing but a floating goldmine for terrorists because there is absolutely no need for a carrier in the Mediterranean sea, the only additional improvement is the ability to carry combat helicopters that can be easily taken down in open skies by every anti-air missile offshore and fall down in the middle of the sea.
Obviously this is nothing but another cold-war type bragging and a very foolish one considering Israel's new Dolphin 2 fleet not to mention the improved AA and AM systems that were installed recently.. good job Turkey.

Turkish navy is not increasing anything in the Med one sided. Our navy is patrolling there to prevent British doggies Jews and Greeks to steal natural gas and patrol reserves.
