I lived in Philly for a short time. Back when the cops burned down half the city and killed a bunch of kids and adults by dropping a bomb on some black liberation activists (MOVE).

It was at the corner of Hyperbole and Stretch.
 
And you want to know why ?
Because we don't take any shit of off nobody.

I wonder if dont-take-shittedness is a measurable metric.

It sure is on the football field when the Cowgirls come in and there's snow to be balled.

More recently there's "Kimbreling" .... watch the fans behind the plate



One of my proudest moments as a Fluffya sports fan was in the final game of the 1993 NLDS when the Breves were obviously going to lose the series -- you know that obnoxious "tomahawk chop" they do in Atlanta? Our fans started the same vocal chant, using the Sicilian gesture with the arm and elbow. And the thing is, nobody orchestrated it -- they just knew to do it.
