Fiscal FactCheck: How Much Will Trump's Tax Plan Cost?

But....but.....<sob>

What about "Trickle Down"?

Tax cuts do not have to pay for themselves since they cost nothing to begin with

22% of GDP ...

... Ouch!
tax cuts do not cost anything

I can't make it any simpler than that

The tax plan Trump released yesterday is very similar to his campaign proposal with one exception ...

... it no longer claims to be "revenue neutral".

Hahahahahahahahaha ....

so what it still doesn't cost anything

spending costs money not tax cuts

So true ...

... and besides, we can easily make up the lost revenue by increasing productivity by 4% a year.

Yah, infrastructure and militaries come cheap.

Correct, how budgets are balanced is by cutting the over bloated bureaucracy called the federal government and its wasteful spending.

War on poverty cost
The War on Poverty has cost $22 trillion -- three times more than what the government has spent on all wars in American history. Federal and state governments spend $1 trillion in taxpayer dollars on America's 80 means-tested welfare programs annually.

This last one is big. We need to bring those hundreds of billions of dollars back home. Let's have them benefit U.S. banks instead of foreign banks and foreign nations.
Here is what the plan would do, in part:
  • Create three individual tax brackets with rates of 10 percent, 25 percent and 35 percent
  • Double (roughly) the standard deduction
  • Eliminate the alternative minimum tax
  • Eliminate the estate tax
  • Eliminate virtually all tax deductions, including for state and local taxes
  • Lower the corporate tax rate to 15 percent
  • Allow a one-time tax “holiday” to encourage companies to bring money back to United States

So wait....you're frilly little panties are in a bunch about $6 trillion over 10 years but you celebrated Barack Obama adding $10 trillion over 8 years?!? :uhh:

Be specific ...

Which of Obama's policies are responsible for this increase?

The deficit dropped significantly during his administration.

Yah, infrastructure and militaries come cheap.
They come infinitely cheaper than the over $1 trillion per year in idiotic, unconstitutional, left-wing social spending. Get rid of that and all of our debt problems are instantly solved.

In yet another deliciously ironic twist, the plan would actually raise taxes on Trump's base.

Personal income from $9,276 to $37,550 now taxed at a 15% rate would suddenly jump up to a 25% rate.

The white working class will now have the privilege of paying for virtually nonexistent social spending on the federal level.

That means any remaining public services will be administered almost exclusively at the state and local level, financed through regressive taxation.

Winning!
