The style and tactics Trump used to make millions in the business world do not work in world politics.
His most successful tactic is intimidation and bullying. It is much easier to bully and intimidate small sub-contractors than it is world leaders.
He has had very little success intimidating and bullying US politicians of both parties.

As the world leaders get a closer look at Trump they have no respect for him and wonder how the US could elect a buffoon like him.

I cannot believe that those who voted for him based on his false claims are not seeing through his lies and who the man really is.

He might be a jerk, but he's our jerk. I don't know how old you are, but if you remember Pete Rose playing baseball, I hated him until he was on my team. President Trump is at best an imperfect vessel of my conservative beliefs, but on foreign matters he's been okay as far as I am concerned.
