Here is the the thing though. Other states have major poverty problems. And they are not Dem controlled. Cali isn’t alone.

So why claim it is due to political policies when other states prove that isn’t the case.

Because the red states while having high poverty levels aren't turning into third world shitholes. You don't find human feces on virtually every street corner, as you do in San Fran.

The gulf between rich and poor is not widening, it is static. It is only in progressive elitist blue states where you see that gulf widening at a astonishing rate.
