Trump’s 4 Biggest Lies about Today’s Economy

"Trump is having only one positive impact on the economy: His continuous P.T. Barnum lies about how good it is have improved consumer confidence. Which I suppose is good – until, like the character in the road-runner cartoons, consumers look down and realize there’s nothing under them."

Well the economy is doing great right now so I guess I'll wait for the next crash.

I will have a long wait.
If the economy is doing so great, why does Trump have to lie about it?

Trump’s 4 Biggest Lies about Today’s Economy

"1. 'Best job growth ever.' Wrong. Job growth has actually slowed. In the last 19 months of the Obama administration the economy created 3.96 million jobs. In the first 19 months of Trump’s, 3.58 million.

2. 'Lowest unemployment rate ever.' Rubbish. The unemployment rate is now down to 3.9 percent. That’s good. But it doesn’t measure how many people are still too discouraged to look for work or are working part time who’d rather be working full time. The labor participation rate (percent of prime working age work who actually have jobs) has been stuck at 88.9 percent for over a year."
Because he just can't help it! I do not get it either he lies when the truth is good enough! It baffles me!

We have the best economy we’ve ever had in decades, and the left loses its marbles over it.
What criteria are you using to judge the current US economy?

Analysis | Trump says U.S. economy may be the ‘greatest in history.’ Let’s check the record.

"There are many ways to judge an economy, but the typical measures are growth, jobs, wages, inflation and debt.

"Inequality also usually gets tossed into the mix.

"In today’s economy, jobs are plentiful, the stock market is at record levels and confidence — both business and consumer — is high. Inflation has also remained tame. But growth, while showing signs of picking up, is still below what it was in many eras.

"Wage growth is also disappointing compared with what it was in prior boom times, and the deficit has also surged, which experts warn could be a drag on the economy for yeas to come."

Time for a cut in the capital gains tax rate?

Record inequality: The top 1% controls 38.6% of America's wealth

Apparently, being born rich insulates one from reality to such an extent anything they say should always be regarded as truthful?

It’s True: Trump Is Lying More, and He’s Doing It on Purpose

"On Thursday, the Washington Post published a remarkable story on its front page revealing a recent spike in the number of 'false and misleading claims' made by President Trump.

"In his first year as President, Trump made 2,140 false claims, according to the Post. In just the last six months, he has nearly doubled that total to 4,229.

"In June and July, he averaged sixteen false claims a day.

"On July 5th, the Post found what appears to be Trump’s most untruthful day yet: seventy-six per cent of the ninety-eight factual assertions he made in a campaign-style rally in Great Falls, Montana, were 'false, misleading or unsupported by evidence.'"

I wonder if Trump's lies will increase should Democrats take back the House next month?

Why is it that your prognostications are ALWAYS WRONG? Is it because you rely on charlatans like Reich and Friedman?

Can you believe the little left wing propagandist? Reich doesn't argue about the "lowest unemployment ever" but he calls the President a liar because of his own estimate unnamed unverified persons who may not be looking for a job. Reich does some fast talking about the "fastest economic growth in history" by comparing a couple of quarterly growth spurts during Obama to the yearly growth during Trump's first year. Obama was the only president in history not to achieve a 3% annual GDP and Trump's first year GDP was 4.1. Lefties tend to eat this propaganda shit up like pablum because of hatred and disappointment and the little creep knows it.

Tell that bull shit to my 401 K

You libtards can't stand Trump's success......

I think it's gonna happen before 2020. More likely sometime in mid 2019.
What do you think will trigger the next crash?

Conjuring Up the Next Depression

"During the financial crisis of 2008, the world’s central banks, including the Federal Reserve, injected trillions of dollars of fabricated money into the global financial system. This fabricated money has created a worldwide debt of $325 trillion, more than three times global GDP..."

"What will trigger the next crash?

"The $13.2 trillion in unsustainable U.S. household debt?

"The $1.5 trillion in unsustainable student debt?

"The billions Wall Street has invested in a fracking industry that has spent $280 billion more than it generated from its operations? Who knows.

"What is certain is that a global financial crash, one that will dwarf the meltdown of 2008, is inevitable. And this time, with interest rates near zero, the elites have no escape plan."
325 TRILLION? That figure must be wrong - unless it includes all the change that I lose down the back of my sofa.

The midget is a mad Trump hating idiot…..

If bernanke is right I will be a very rich man…..

But he’s not…

I know why they left krugman out,

he’s been proven a Trump hating idiot over and over.

Reich should be a man (even if he is no bigger than a kid) and acknowledge that his economic policies were failures but like a freaking coward he relies on half truths, innuendos and outright lies to snipe at President Trump's economic victories. When they weren't punishing political enemies with the IRS, Reich & co. tried a couple of political tricks that caused a couple of quarterly spurts but they never could make it stick or last even for a year. Obama is the only administration not to make 3% in a yearly GDP and thanks to idiots like Reich he couldn't do it in 8 freaking years.

Libs hoping for an economic meltdown.
Rooting against their best interests.

I've never seen people root for a crash so hard in my life. It is like a ton of Bill Maher clones. Robert Reich has a great record of success doesn't he? He'd lose money dealing at a black jack table.

Reich would manage to lose money on a horse race even if democrat allies in Organized Crime fixed it. If you wanted to fleece a sucker in a poker game Barry Hussein would be a prime patsy. We watched chicken shit freaks and foreign raised quasi socialists ruin the economy and promote anarchy for eight dismal years and now they snipe at a successful administration. No surprises here.
