What the IRS does is review the returns and when someone -- oops -- actually owes $ when they "thought" they didn't, the IRS just gets them to resubmit their return with the $ that's owed. That's how it's done. No one gets arrested.

This is about people taking every deduction they legally can and whatever they owe, they pay. You don't like the fact that a US citizen used all the legal deductions possible and paid as little tax as possible. You don't do the same? The Clinton Foundation is tax free, I don't care. GE (who donated and supported Obama) paid no income tax and Obama nor the lefties, such as yourself seemed to say a word. Pretty hypocritical.

The problem again is the government allowing people to pay no taxes, not the individuals to obey the laws.

I think it is pretty easy to see the real answer.
