How would "universal background checks" have stopped Syed Farook and his wife from lighting up a Christmas party in San Bernadino who obtained them via a straw purchase through his neighbor?
How would "universal background checks" have stopped Dylan Roof, who once again was not permitted to own firearms but a clerical error in his arrest record allowed him to?
How would "universal background checks" have stopped Aaron Alexis, the Navy Yard shooter, who had multiple arrests for violent outbursts including TWO for "firing weapons in anger" but was never prosecuted?
