Top Pentagon Policy Official Pushed Out
Now we have been told time and time again that there wouldn't be any retributions or punishments for state department or pentagon officials for doing their job -- but, how can Trump drain the swamp and fight the Deep State if he doesn't get rid of evil doers who don't do what Trump tells them to do??
"The U.S. Department of Defense’s top policy official, John Rood [former Lockheed Martin exec], is stepping down from his post following pressure from the White House, leaving another gaping hole in the Pentagon’s senior leadership as the department comes under increased scrutiny over its handling of the president’s hold on military aid to Ukraine. There is no evidence that Rood’s ouster is related to the Pentagon’s handling of Trump’s directive to freeze roughly $250 million in military aid to Ukraine -- but Rood approved the aid in May 2019, before Trump directed the hold"
Now I bring this guy up because his name wasn't mentioned much by Trumpers during the whole Ukrainian impeachment thing -- I guess there were no memes and Twitter bots telling them why they should hate the guy.....now that he may be resigning, feel free to add him to the list of people to hate...
Here is another person to possibly add -- since Trumpers are usually last on being told who to hate -- watch for the name, Elaine McCusker. Right now she has been nominated for a senior Pentagon position as the comptroller --- but Trump may pull her nomination (like he did Jessie Liu at the DOJ) because she is the one who raised legal concerns with Trump’s directive to withhold aid to Ukraine in the first place -- which makes her evil and against America obviously.
