Trump: Steve Bannon lost his mind

Steve Bannon must drink alot of Diet Coke.

That's how TRUMP is mentally impaired according to MSNBC.

LoL..trouble in paradise! Now the conundrum...can one support Trump..and still dump on Bannon? If one is an ardent alt/right fan..is Bannon the man?

White House press release:

From press secretary Sarah Sanders:

Statement from the President of the United States

Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.

Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.

Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.

We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.

What's a good little anti-social, alt-right moron supposed to do with this?

Anybody see Trump's full statement? It's delicious. Absolutely delicious.

My favorite part:

"Earlier Wednesday, excerpts from the book leaked that quoted Bannon describing a 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between a Russian lawyer and Trump’s son and son-in-law as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.”

"They're going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV," Bannon predicted, referring to the president’s eldest son. "

That's probably true. We're going to see another push for a Clinton investigation.

The comments on Breitbart are hilarious. Now users are calling Bannon a "never Trumper" who "tows the MSNBC line".How quickly they'll eat their own over the slightest criticism of the Orange God.

folks dont know about Bannon: his admiration for Wacky Rachel Maddow, who he considers "a master of fact-based partisan polemics".

folks also dont know his deep interest in "Christian mysticism and esoteric Hinduism".

there's a lot we dont know!

Lol..and let the reputation destroying spin begin. Bannon was never a mystery..a self-avowed Leninist--Trumpistas loved him though..and now they'll turn on him in a heartbeat.

Even if the comments attributed to Bannon turn out to be false the damage has already been done. Trump has responded to the news with a kick to Bannon's nuts.

"For Steve Mnuchin and Reince Priebus, he was an ‘idiot.’ For Gary Cohn, he was ‘dumb as shit.’ For H.R. McMaster he was a ‘dope.’ The list went on.”
