At any rate, at some later point, after my boss's boyfriend had physically assaulted her, she and I had a conversation about that earlier encounter. That's when she said that he was "acting crazy." My response to her was that perhaps "it wasn't an act."

The point of this story is this: Despite the fact that the word, 'crazy,' is not a clinical term, the truth of the matter is that some people simply are not mentally sound or balanced; they're erratic, predictably unpredictable, and they create turmoil all around them.
