And, Nunes is hiding from his own committee ...

The Trump administration sought to block former acting attorney general Sally Yates from testifying to Congress in the House investigation of links between Russian officials and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, The Washington Post has learned, a position that is likely to further anger Democrats who have accused Republicans of trying to damage the inquiry.

According to letters The Post reviewed, the Justice Department notified Yates earlier this month that the administration considers a great deal of her possible testimony to be barred from discussion in a congressional hearing because the topics are covered by the presidential communication privilege.

Yates and other former intelligence officials had been asked to testify before the House Intelligence Committee this week, a hearing that was abruptly canceled by the panel’s chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

Yates and another witness at the planned hearing, former CIA director John Brennan, had made clear to government officials by Thursday that their testimony to the committee probably would contradict some statements that White House officials had made, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The following day, when Yates’s lawyer sent a letter to the White House indicating that she still wanted to testify, the hearing was canceled.

This is nothing yet again.The Post is looking for a story which is not there, and to change the subject of what is really going on , and that is; This administration was spied on. The Dem party lost big time, and the worst state since the 1920’s.

The Trump administration is operating from a position of fear, which is always a weak position.

It's not going to get any better for them from here.

Yates is a fucking hack.

Let her testify, then nail her ass on perjury as it is 100% guaranteed she will perjure herself.

Stay on task.

We're only three months in, and the Trump administration has been entirely obscured in smoke.

Then why is Trump trying to shut her down?

No evidence he is. That the demagogues of the party press spew shit is not evidence of anything.

I merely states what I would do. Yates is gutter scum, a partisan with zero ethics. She has already proven that she holds the party above all things, so set a honey pot trap and put her in prison.

Works for me.

What's really funny is the desperation of Trump and his sycophants to keep invoking the Clintons as of it's a shield to anything the old man does or says! It's only been 2 months and scandals abound, but all some clowns can do is call out Bill and Hill who are not even in public life that much; almost never seen! Trump OTOH can't get enough of the spotlight; whether good or bad news! Talk about desperate; he tops them all! What a clown! :bang3: :blahblah: :321:

Scandals based on nothing more than hyperbole in the Soros controlled press.

What we are seeing now is that it is in fact the Fascist democrats who are in bed with the Russian mob. No surprise there.

There's no great mystery here. Trump has routinely laundered dirty Russian money through his businesses. The Russians have used German banks to funnel their stolen money to Trump businesses, or he buys something directly for $60 million and then the Russians buy it for $70 million.

There might well be other things going on too, but it all started with money laundering. Trump made millions, maybe even tens of millions every year by doing this. In return the Russians got clean assets.

Prosecuting Trump for this crime is complicated, but the fact that Russians kept funneling money to him is evident by documents that are publicly available.

Ted Koppel is a liberal hack, always has been. He was out to get Reagan and failed big time. Tried to say Reagan cut a deal with the Iranians (October Surprise) and did a series on it, promising to "uncover the truth". When he failed to uncover anything, he just dropped it. No apology, no admission that he found nothing, just discontinued his series with no mention of it ever again. I lost all respect for him after that.

You mean like Obama's birth certificate and wiretapping Trump Tower? Funny...
No, actually. Not the same at all. Trump accepted the B.C. And the Trump Tower surveillance has been proven to be true. The only thing you can argue is the wording. "Wiretapping" vs "Surveillance". Bottom line: Obama was eavesdropping on the Trump team. Care to try again, loser?

Bullshit, Herr Goebbels.

Bullshit, Herr Goebbels.

All you fascists do is slander and libel, never a shred of evidence, just smears.

But you know who IS engaged with the Russian Mob?

{
But the records shed light on one of many relationships that blurred the lines between the Clinton's political, financial and philanthropic pursuits while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state.

Vekselberg's Renova Group has donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, donor records show. Another firm associated with Vekselberg, OC Oerlikon, donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

Renova's interests in mining, oil and telecommunications have helped Vekselberg become one of Russia's wealthiest individuals and an influential figure within the Kremlin.

Beginning in May 2010, Amitabh Desai, a Clinton Foundation employee who acted as a frequent liaison to the State Department on behalf of Bill Clinton, asked agency officials if they had any objections to the former president's plan to meet with a handful of Russian executives on an upcoming swing through the country.}

Emails show Clinton ties to Russian oligarch under investigation

Makes sense though, the Clinton Mob is the most powerful crime family in America, so they would be extension be in bed with the Russian Mob.
