It works both ways: Just as much as all the egregious crimes of Hillary and the Obama administration have been soft-walked out the door, nothing to see here, despite mountains of evidence, they will just as much hound Trump to find anything they can, threaten, bribe, whatever it takes to shake loose a single spider from Trump's closet to try to hang him on. And it all could have been avoided had Sessions merely done his job and oversaw the Mueller investigation the same way that Loretta Lynch oversaw Hillary's---- from the tarmac of Bill's plane.

The real joke is that in looking for a russian connection to election tampering, the real tampering is right under everyone's noses:

Hillary and her Steele Dossier paid to the Ukrainians.
Obama and his wiretaps.
Obama reshuffling intelligence handing the day before leaving office to enable endless leaks.

The sabotaging of Bernie's campaign.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and her Pakistani spy.
Hillary running her Sec. of State Office with Clint. Foundation employees and a private computer outside government hands.
The FBI never seizing the Podesta computer
The FBI complicit in destroying Hillary evidence
The FBI in not recording Hillary interviews and allowing people under investigation to represent her.

New York is a single consent state for recording conversations. The only way that conversation was illegal was if Cohen didn’t consent to recording himself.

Nope. Of the 880,000 documents and recordings seized, only 2600 or so were privileged. Or about 1/4 of 1%. The other 99.75% were released to the government the day before yesterday.

Special master in Cohen case rejects more than a third of legal team's privileged items

So either they were released by someone in the government, in which case they weren’t privedged. Or by the Trump team. In which case they relinquished privledge by releasing the recording.

And in either case, any payment made would have been a violation of campaign laws, and a felony. There is no privledge for discussing the commissions of crimes.

Worse still, it could establish foreknowledge and Intent in the violation of campaign finance laws. Especially since they have already confirmed a similar payment to Stormy Daniels.

Prosecutors are all over this. There are already criminal investigations on the matter.

Laughing.....says our resident conspiracy theorist. Back in reality, the special master in charge of reviewing the documents found that only 2600 of 880,000 were privledge.

And since payments to quiet affairs would have been a felony violation of campaign finance law, privledge couldn’t apply. As there is no privledge for discussion of the commission of crimes.

Nor should there be.
