If you want to go in that direction, then you must realize that Obama and his brood are the living embodiment of the Bundy family of "Married With Children" fame, especially in the episode when they got a credit card they never earned or deserve, for their dog, and went on a wild spending spree.

It's been awhile since we had a POTUS that loves his country.

Singing a national anthem doesn't equate to loving the country more than anyone else.

It just means that Trump is aware of who his core support is, and knows that many of them take symbolism to mean patriotism, and patriotism is what the right claim to be all about. Ie, you support the right, you're a patriot, support the left and you're the enemy, sort of nonsense.

You know what got me? Trump wasn't mere 'presiding over the tradition' like so many do, he was /part/ of the thousands of fans. Proudly singing along, touched by the deeper meaning behind the song and what it represents to his fans.
