I can fully understand why they voted for Trump. Our system (unless you want to go 3rd party) is either Blue or Red and if you can’t vote for Blue, you vote for Red and vice versa.

Tariffs are not working; we’re bailing out farmers. The CPI/PPI are climbing as is inflation. The Factories are not coming back. Ford et. al. will simply send what is made by the offshore factories to other markets and still take advantage of the cheaper labor.

The threat of tariffs is what likely lead to China facilitating NK’s nuke launch from a mobile launcher. If nothing else, China turned a blind eye to it’s use.

Farmers will survive and find new markets.

Well, the stock market climed 149% under Obama so it seems Corporate America was doing fine under Obama. As for the “good paying jobs”…I’ll believe it when I see it.

Manufacturing jobs…from your own source…has little to do with the tariffs.
The “find new markets” plan is a joke.

No , i'm not about to post anecdotal baloney , as none of us are an economic point of reference for the country, or world for that matter

nor is Trump, or any sitting president magically going to turn the economy any given direction. Any potus is a pawn , simply taking credit for the good & placing blame for the bad.

Generally speaking I've noticed that most of the complaining revolves around Trumps personality.
Every once and awhile you see a thread about the tariffs and other policy decisions but mostly I see complaints about how he is talking or acting.

Is that an indication he is doing things right or just a sign that the left are obsessed with personality or both?

I'll be the first to admit his spending like a fool and wish he would tweet less but other than that my business is doing just as well as the economy. I have been getting a lot of repeat business and while that is great it is not the norm at this level.

People are first motivated by emotion. Then by rationality.

If they believe they diminish their existence, they will vote against them.

Regarding Trump's policies as with past presidents, some of them I like, others of which I disagree. I'm certainly not fond of his personality but I try not to hold it against him and simply consider him as a product of his environment. After all, in my view those from NYC are like a sort of subspecies.
