Trump or Cruz....it doesn't matter...

The real reason why the GOP is imploding goes deeper than this squabble over super delegates.

The leadership of the republican party used the conservative wing of the government to attempt to make Obama's presidency look bad to the exclusion of all else. In effect they did real damage to this nation just to prove they could and that in their minds the majority of Americans will did not matter. The repair of our infrastructure among other worthy non partisan goals that could have stimulated the economy and provided millions of jobs certainly would have boosted recovery from the downturn caused by Bush's inattention at the helm.

IMHO the core want list of the christian conservatives, such as abortion etc.. would have been shone in a better light in an attempt at at least a small portion of accommodation to the real nuts and bolts needs of the country than in the mean spirited Obama bashing that has taken place over the last 7 and a half years.

Sure the GOP faithful has had a good time following along with the anti Obama theme which has driven government at the leadership level but when it was all said and done the man and woman on the street, including republicans, must drive on these streets and it is hard to ignore the potholes in the GOP's neglect.

Trump's promise of a "greater country" might be more real than the GOP realizes. We still want a functional country regardless of the religious issues that drive many of the GOP's leaders.

I agree with your premise that the GOP has been blinded by the anti-Obama movement. Those efforts have left the party as a divided shell. They were so worried about stopping O, that they lost their way. Have they finally learned from their mistakes? NO!

The stupidity and arrogance of McConnell in denying even a hearing for O's Supreme Court nominee proves the GOP is still blindly stumbling along with their anti-Obama efforts. They will lose so very badly.

I agree completely. If Hillary wins in November and with her the senate the stubborn GOP leadership will have no one but themselves to blame as she appoints pro choice and gay friendly justices packing a liberal agenda for generations to come. My biggest fear is that the baby will be thrown out with the bath water as the 2nd amendment will probably be trashed weakening the population of this nation.

Trump or Cruz? Why It Doesn’t Matter Anymore for the GOP

It really does nit matter. The GOP is sooooooo screwed.

The country is so screwed. The poor will continue to get poorer and what is left of the middle class will disappear ....but hey, at least one faction will have boasting rights be it the GOP or Dem party......little solace to be had when you are standing in bread lines or living in a box. Political parties do not matter. The Bilderburg group promised Hitlery the office if she would back out in 2008. You see, your corporate CEO isn't elected...they are selected.
