Trump Moving USDA from DC to Where Food is Grown and Deep State is Furious

Lmao!!

If you idiots would stop posting from known conspiracy theory sites as if they had some sort of validity I wouldn't have to. Damn near everything you kids post is from some RWNJ blog or a fake news site like Daily Caller or World News Daily. I'm talking garbage that makes Fox look credible. So you better get used to it, at least until you guys pull your collective head outta yer ass and start looking for some sources that don't push known lies.

Above all, please be sure not to post from validated liars like CBS, The New York Times and CNN.
No son. Those are real news sites that occasionally make a mistake and have to issue corrections. That's a side effect of trying to be first. The sites you idiots are posting from are not making errors, they are fabricating lies from whole cloth, and they never ever admit they have made a mistake.

Dan RathCBS used 1972 Microsoft Word Documents as the basis for authenticating that Bush was AWOL. That was an outright lie and fabrication, not a mistake.

The biggest idiots of all were Dan Rather and CBS who used 1972 Microsoft Word Documents as authenticated validation that Bush was AWOL. This was an outright lie, fabrication by a so-called “real” news organization; not a mistake. Dan Rather made his mark covering Richard Nixon’s fall caused being blinded by his own fury against his enemies. Ironically, Rather suffered the same fate and CBS has this stain on its legacy.
You're incorrect. It was lazy and a mistake to use the documents without absolutely authenticating them, but it was not a lie. Careers were ruined by the mistake, apologies and retractions were issued by all concerned.

Try again.

Go try yourself, son. It was not a mistake. Rather and CBS tried to sway or “rig” an election with their own fabricated October Surprise and it failed. 1972 Microsoft Word Docs should have been their first clue.
What you just did there is called an opinion. The facts do not support it.

You have not provided any facts. The documents used were in fact Microsoft Word Docs. The problem is that MS Word did not come out until 1983. CBS and Dan Rather were showing them to be authentic from 1973.

"Devastate the agencies"?

Since when did they start believing that the devastation of their agencies mattered in contrast to serving the American people as they are supposed to?

Yep no more posh DC strip clubs and night life for the supposed public servants who are only interested in serving themselves. Now the lobbyists will have to make an extra trip to Kansas to bring their bribe money to the poor six figure government workers who will have to live on their paychecks like the rest of us if the Lobbyists decide it's too risky to openly bribe them in Kansas city.

Of course not....didn't you know? When lefty provides an opinion it is automatically empirical fact all by itself.

Moving bureaucrats out of D.C. won't make them any less bureaucratic.

True...but the next several years of job replacements from the local area will. Additionally when the agency moves it is almost certain that up to fifty percent of the current employees will not move with it. That will leave them in hiring mode with an infinitely higher quality talent pool to choose from as the new location is with a stones throw of at least a dozen agricultural colleges.
It is a brilliant move.

You clearly have no idea what the ERS or NIFA does. Neither of them are the target of lobbyist.

They admit they made a mistake. The people who made the mistake were disciplined, some even lost their jobs. Notice the difference between this and what happens when Daily Caller gets caught posting false information.

They will get a nice influx of new blood and thinking. This will be a win for both agencies.

The Commute will be eased up....DC is famous for traffic jams..
The Lobbyists who cheat the American people by bribing Swamp Things down in DC
Will think twice about exposing themselves to a new area with new watchdogs around.
The new location will be drawing from an infinitely better talent pool as it will be only a stone's throw
From a dozen Agricultural colleges..... people with actual degrees in Agriculture will top the list instead of
Senator's Nephews who just want a six figure paycheck to support a class A drug Habit.

How are the USDA suits going to do their jobs where food is produced without a Starbucks on every corner?

The USDA doesn't grow food, it regulates food production. Laws and regulations are done in Washington. So you're going to move the agency which regulates food production out of the city where the laws and the regulations are passed. These people are going to spend all of their time flying to Washington to meet with lawmakers.

Truly this sounds like a Trump plan:

1. It increases costs;

2. It doesn't accomplish anything of substance;

3. It makes it more difficult for the agency to do it's job, which is to write and pass regulations and laws governing the industry;

4. And it convinces fools like you that Trump is doing something for farmers.

Deep States response to the swamp draining:
"Employees, congressional Democrats and a bipartisan coalition of former USDA leaders" have warned that the move "would devastate the two agencies," per the Post. ERS and NIFA have both recently unionized and some "union officials have promised to fight the move."

Trump to Move USDA Personnel From D.C. to Where Food Grows
The hundreds of rank and file workers who have been "invited" to move mostly won't go. Would you? I'm sure only the supervisory staff are being offered $$ to uproot their families, sell their homes, pull their kids from established schools and move half way across the country. THAT is why people who know are predicting a devastating effect on the agencies. It's going to save the govt 20 mil a year. I wonder why. Do you think these folks go walk the corn fields? Nuh uh.

The move makes sense however relocating halfway across the country is hard on employees regardless of which industry they work. Spouses with jobs, kids in school, and other family considerations make the choice especially tough.

In search for a more political neutral source than that linked in OP, I came across this from the Business Journal: https://www.bizjournals.com/washing...elocate-two-divisions-from-d-c-to-kansas.html

Trump is smarter than most people in Washington DC. He has a real reason for moving the main offices of the USDA that no one has figured out yet. LOL. It will become clear when it's too late to block him.

Just like I said... You are lazy... Why couldn't you do it yourself? Hell I done in just a few minutes... Don't you know how to use the interweb?
Why didn't the OP do it? Do you often follow him around covering for him?
Just because you didn’t like the OPs source is no excuse not to check for yourself. Ridge actually covered for your lazy ass.
Yeah.... No.
Umm... yeah. It’s your schtick. You bitch about the source like a child no matter what the subject is. It’s your opening post every single thread. You never address the topic or post an alternative source for an argument you just bitch about where another posters article came from.

It’s pathetic really that after this long on a politics forum your go to rebuttal is never the topic.

After three years of the Russia bullshit from your frauds and you say this?

Moving bureaucrats out of D.C. won't make them any less bureaucratic.

It sure as hell will.

Washington is a cesspool. 95% of the people there work for the government or make their living from the government in some form. They, therefore, have an ingrained sense of entitlement and superiority.

Out in flyover Country, people are very, very, very different. Not ALL of them. There are brainless bureaucrats in Omaha and Des Moines, but not nearly as many. Nowhere near the percentage in Wash DC.

And, I don't know if you ever noticed but, most of the People that work at the Ford Assembly Plant in Detroit.....?

They're from that area. Same with most of the people that work at the New Yawk Slimes -- Believe it or not, they're mostly from New Yawk. I know, shocking, right??

And most of the people that work in Washington DC..... Wanna take a guess where they're from??

They admitted they made a mistake because they got busted. Admitting or choosing incompetence when it really was malice was the path of least repercussions. A Lion of journalists does not make such an egregious mistake. Dan Rather was trying to rig an election against George W. Bush and got caught. This is someone who took they story to the airwaves everything Nixon was doing. He witnessed firsthand the fact checking and authentication that needed to take place.

Can you site a specific instance backed by empirical or validated sources where Daily Caller lied?
